Education
Drawing and Painting (BFA) 2017-2021. OCAD University, Toronto, ON.
A comprehensive, full-time degree program emphasizing painting, printmaking, and drawing, while encompassing a spectrum of styles from abstraction to realism. Engaged with foundational principles across various fine arts media and explored the fundamentals of art history. Additionally, there was a strong emphasis on studio-based classes rather than lecture courses.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in the Visual Arts, 2015-2017. Bishop O'Byrne High school, Calgary, AB.
Successfully completing the International Baccalaureate program in Art, dedicating two years to planning, researching, and developing a unique focus within my artistic practice. This focus involved creating a custom skatewear brand, which included the production of 15 branded artworks in various mediums, an artist statement, and a research-based PowerPoint presentation detailing the inspirations, documented process, and research behind the brand. The culmination of this work was an art exhibition showcasing the artworks.
Professional Art Student, 2009-2017. Swinton's Art Supplies, Calgary, AB.
For eight years, I participated in weekly, semi-private art classes under the guidance of various professional artists based in Calgary. My studies emphasized personal artistic growth and technical development across multiple mediums, with a particular focus on painting, drawing, and realism techniques.
